Foundations
Once the design of your outbuilding is decided upon, the first stage in construction is the groundwork and to build the foundations, a crucial part of the barns long-term stability.

Brick and Stone Work
The second stage will be to complete the brick and stone work in readiness for the timber frame construction.

Timber Frame and Cladding
NBS will then hand build the timber frame for your building and clad. The timber cladding used will be pre-treated to a high standard that will not require further treatment for another ten years.

Roof Structure and Tiling
The roof felting and tiling will then be completed. Careful consideration will be given to the type of roof tiles used where there is a need to blend with the enviroment i.e. local authority specifications and or Conservation Areas, NBS will offer solutions to meet these needs.
Exposed roof timbers will provide individuality and style to a structure.
